Boccelino
Inspired by the oldst fabric found going back 3500 years BC. This kind of inbetween ‘open’ flatweave, handwoven in that time, was used for mummification. Boccelino is therefor also the oldest cloth used for interior decoration, build from a 100 % linen warp and weft. Slubbed yarns are another unique element of Boccelino. Slubs appear there were the long linen fibre staples are connected and twisted into yarns. This occurs in the warp and weft yarns, creating the valuable ‘cross-slub effect as end-result.
